- CVC-Cha on tour is the TV Program which will introduce the attractive place in Chachoengsao province.

- Well, today we're start greeting right from Chachoegsao Vocational College
- And now. We will introduce the well known place once we say the name, you will know as well
- Yes, we are going to "The City Pillar Shrine of Chachoengsao"
- Wow!! It looks great ! I never been there before.
- Then let go.
- We will go there by minibus or "Song Thew", Come on.
<Lecture> The City Pillar Shrine or "San Lak Muang" is located on Na Muang road, Muang district, Chachoegsao province. It is only 2 Kilometer from Chachoengsao Vocational College. You can go there by you own car or by bus or by minibus (Song - Thew). On the way you can see important place namely "Wat Maung" and Chachoengsao Hospitol on te left and Bang Pa Kong river on the right.

- Here we are at "The City Pillar Shrine" or "San Lak Mang".
- Let cross the road to the shrine. Let go!.
<Lecture> The City Pillar Shrine is built in Thai architectural style with 4 - sided roofs and a tower(prang) in the center. Inside, there are two city pillars. it's around 800 sq.m. tennis cort and batminton cort on the north side and Chachoengsao Hospital on the south side and ont the east is the Marupong Road and Plublic park on the river side of Bang Pra Kong river. - Yes, The City Pillar Shrine is located in the interion of the City Wall

<Lecture> Junior guide tell us about the shrine is located in the interion of the City Wall, in Tambon Na Maung, Maung District. The Shrine was as the City itself, being built at the time of Chachoengsao's founding.Inside the secred Pillar is placed, belived to guard chachoengsao from danger and evil.
A momentous restoration of the Shrine was made during the reign of king Rama V, when the original dilapidated pillar was replaced by a new one made from "maka" (afcelia bijuca) wood. The meritorious performance and celebration of the New Pillar Erection on 16 July 2438 B.E. was another memorable event in the City's history.
In the old days, a number of artilleries were placed in the precinct of the Shrine. Today, to the Five Arts Department's acquiescence, five of them have been removed and repositoned on top of the City Wall

- การบูชา the pillar shrine ก็เหมือนกับการบูชาพระพุทธรูปทั่วไป มีดอกไม้ ธูปเทียน และทองคำแปลว พร้อมกับท่องบทบูชา ตามที่ได้ระบุไว้ ที่บริเวณด้านหน้า pillar shrine และก็อธิษฐานขอพรให้ตนเองมีความเจริญก้าวหน้า ทางด้านการเรียน ด้านการงาน เพราะคนที่มาสักการะบูชา pillar shrine ส่วนใหญ่จะมีความเชื่อในเรื่องของวามมั่นคงทางหน้าที่การงาน
- The pillar shrine is the holly object like Buddha image. We pay the worship with flower, joss stick, Candle and gold foil while we pray with the mantra at the font of Pillar shrine. And also pray for our good luck and progress in our job or education. Most of them are eager or job security.

- นอกจากจะมีศาลหลักเมืองที่ประดิษฐาน "เสาหลักเมือง" แล้วนะคะ บริเวณด้านข้างเคียงกันเราก็จะเห็นศาลเจ้าที่เป็น
สถาปัตยกรรมจีน ศาลนี้ เรียกว่า "ศาลเจ้าพ่อหลักเมือง" ค่ะ ซึ่งชาวแปดริ้วเชื้อสายจีนให้ความเคารพนับกันมากเลยทีเดียวค่ะ <บริเวณศาลเจ้าพ่อหลักเมืองทั้งหมด>
- Beside of The City Pillar Shrine of Chachoengsao there is the joss house that build in Chinese style which is called "ศาลเจ้าพ่อหลักเมือง". This joss house is worshipful for Chinese people in แปดริ้ว
