ช่วงแรกๆของการใช้ Ubuntu ผมเจอปัญหาระบบ Boot ไม่ขึ้นบ่อย จึงมีระบบ Backup ข้อมูลไว้ และใช้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ แต่ในระยะหลังๆ ใช้ Ubuntu 10.04 ปัญหาไม่มี ทำให้หลงลืมที่จะ Back up แต่ในที่สุดมันก็มาพังจนได้
มาเมืออาทิตย์นี้ เกิด Boot ไม่ขึ้นอีกแล้ว Backup ก็ล้าสมัย ดีตรงที่การจดงานอื่นๆอยู่บน Online เสียมาก แต่ก็อยากจะหาทาง Recover Data เอามันจึงทดลองศึกษาหาทาง Recover Data พวก Partition ext2 และ ext3

- fdisk -l
- เช็คดูว่ามีอะไร mount อยู่แล้วบ้าง
- df
- First, attach the hard disk and turn it on. Then look in /var/log/messages for a message similar to the ones shown in bold. This will tell you the device-location of your recently attached hdd.
- tail -f /var/log/messages -n 25
- Make a new directory, and mount the device to that point.
- mkdir /mnt/usb-storage
- mount /dev/sde1 /mnt/usb-storage
